Traveling Around Nice

Nice is one of the most spectacular towns in France, but navigating around such an active hub can be tricky. The public transport system isn’t the best – something that politicians continuously promise to improve but always find an excuse not to do so. Sadly for the traveler who doesn’t want to stick to wherever he can get to on foot and also doesn’t want to have to navigate a complicated public transport system, renting a car is the only option left available, short of paying a small fortune in taxi rides – and putting up with French taxi drivers. Car hire Nice is, however, and easy thing to do, since the city’s position as the economical capital of the French Riviera and its important sea port make it a very profitable market for car renting companies.

Whether you’re picking up your car from the airport, the city center or a train station, you’ll always find that the prices aren’t as scary as they can be, say, in Paris or in Marseille. One thing is for sure, though: never decide against the GPS. It might be a daily charge that eventually builds up, but you’ll thank the gods for having it while navigating through the city.
